The Challenges
HDB’s role: HDB was charged with designing, managing and overseeing this project from its inception to completion. HDB provided a full range service from feasibility, through design, to construction and contract administration. Taking the concrete block farm house HDB designed a contemporary inviting cellar door which utilised open space and inviting vistas. HDB create a space that flowed seamlessly from the vineyard to the cellar door. By maintaining the continuity of management through the project, HDB were able to ensure that the envisage concept was delivered which ultimately saw the clients expectations exceeded.
